Objectives
By the end of the workshop you will be able to:
- Describe what legionella is and how it multiplies
- Identify water systems that have been associated with cases of legionellosis
- State the route of infection
- Have knowledge of individual susceptibility
- Understand the legal implication of being the Responsible Person
- Maintain, understand and recognise a quality legionellosis record keeping system
- Recognise the need to conduct risk assessment
- Be aware of which water systems require risk assessment
Who Should Attend?
We operate two courses one for Directors and Managers who are responsible for overseeing Health and Safety procedures, actions and records and who have a need to formally prove that they have knowledge and understanding of their legal obligations. The second for individuals with responsibilities (tasks), supervisors and operators.
