Objectives
By the end of the workshop you will be able to:
- Describe what legionella is and how it multiplies
- Identify water systems that could be sources for legionella
- Have knowledge of individual susceptibility and the route of infection
- Understand the legal implication of the Responsible Person
- Examine a legionellosis record keeping system
- Understand how to conduct risk assessment
- Be aware of which water systems require risk assessment
This one day course will not make attendees competent risk assessors
Who Should Attend?
Managers who are responsible for overseeing Health and Safety procedures, staff involved in the risk assessment of domestic water systems, actions and records and who have a need to formally prove that they have knowledge and understanding to meet their legal obligations.
